What if I already earned an associate degree from CNM?Not a problem! The program is still applicable to any student who is planning to earn an associate degree at CNM, is in the process of earning an associate degree at CNM, or has already graduated with an associate degree from CNM. Even if you earned your degree 10 years ago you are still an excellent candidate for this nontraditional option.

Who do I talk to for assistance planning my classes?Associate degree planning: Speak with your Academic Coach or School Advisor in charge of your particular program at CNM. Remember, you do not need to take any special courses or make any changes to any of the associate degrees at CNM for them to count toward the 2+1+2 Program. We do recommend completing the UNM General Education requirements commonly referred to as "core" classes during your associate degree if possible. If not these can always be completed at CNM or UNM after you finish your associate degree. There is no time limit as to how fast you need to complete the 2+1+2 Program so you can go at a pace that works for you. Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree planning: Speak with any of the excellent advisors in the Liberal Arts and Integrative Studies Advisement Team. Make sure to let them know that you are planning to pursue the 2+1+2 Program so they can help you create a custom plan tailored to your goals and interests. For contact information please visit lais.unm.edu. Master of Business Administration degree planning: Speak with the Anderson School of Management's Graduate Programs advisement team. You can email their team directly at andersongrad@unm.edu or call the Anderson School of Management Advisement and Career Services office at (505) 277-3290 to schedule an appointment. You can also visit Anderson's website mba.mgt.unm.edu for more information and open advisement hours. Master or Public Administration degree planning: Speak with the School of Public Administration's MPA Coordinator Gene Henley.
